The 7th of November the annually recurrent Stockholm International Film Festival was opened for the 28th time in Stockholm. This nonprofit organisation celebrates during one week i November creators, artists, actors and producers within the film industry, Swedish as well as international profiles.

In 2017 Petré invited guests to the gala premiere which took place at legendary Cinema Skandia. A beautiful setting was created with plants, LED lights and a long red carpet. The guests were served a welcoming drink from Louis Bouillot, drinks from Jameson, LM chips, licorice from Kolsvart and mineral water from Bonaqua. Sweden’s minister of Culture and Democracy, Alice Bah Kuhnke and the president of the Film Festival Git Scheynius, announced the opening together with the guest of honor, the Danish film photographer Dan Laustsen. After that, the film The Shape of Water, where Dan Laustsen was involved with his photo- and film artistry, was shown.

After the movie, there was an after party at Alma, a venue with a specific library inspired interior. It was successful start of the festival week!
